Many of golf’s first accomplishments are obscured by time. Who got the first hole in one? Who was the first player to break 70? But this “first” is known: Page & Tuttle made the first knit golf shirt. And every year we do our best to re-invent it a little. Along the way we’ve even managed to change green grass merchandising for the better. You see, we look at this business a little differently than other apparel makers: we believe the best way for us to succeed is to make your life a little easier.
Page and Tuttle were real people and true innovators. In the 19th century they pioneered the development of plated fabrics. In the 20th century their work led to the development of the first knit golf shirt. In the 21st century we’re continuing that tradition of innovation and creativity with a line of apparel and headwear with features you won’t find anywhere else.Every style in our Cool Swing collection of technical performance apparel is made from our exclusive micro polyester fabrication that is designed to enhance game play by keeping you cool, dry and comfortable. A major difference between us and other performance shirt makers – our designs are those you truly want to wear and feel comfortable wearing. We’ve not hopped on the trend toward tight-fitting, bike shirt styling, instead creating our performance knits in sophisticated jacquards and classic stripes. With Page & Tuttle, there’s no reason you can’t dress well and perform well.
In the most recent Golfweek Magazine survey, over 400 golf apparel manufacturers and purchasers were asked to rate apparel brands on a variety of business attributes. Page & Tuttle received the HIGHEST MARKS in the apparel category in the areas of: Customer Service, On-Time Delivery, Pricing and Programs. And when asked what apparel company was considered to be the “Up and Comer” in the apparel market, private club respondents placed Page & Tuttle SECOND!
Everyone at Page & Tuttle has an all out love for the game of golf that inspires our continued commitment to helping you and your customers look and feel great both on and off the course.
