Taking care of your golf clubs isn’t time consuming, so if you have between 5 and 10 minutes, this might be a snap. Golf clubs are a pretty big investment and the better they’re cared for, the longer they’ll last. Instead of buying a new sets in a few months or years, your original set just has to be maintained a lot.

What you need:

Golf Club Brush

Golf club headcover

Putter headcover

Golf towel

Bucket

Cleaning solution

Water

Toothbrush or other soft brush

Here’s how to care for your golf clubs:

Store your clubs indoors, not in the trunk of your car or in your garage. The trunk and garage can get very hot, which could cause the glues and resin under the grips to weaken. Humidity also increases the risk of rusting. A short time in the trunk or garage is fine but for long term storage; you need to put them indoors. Exposing your golf club to cold temperatures over a long period, could dry out your grips and cause them to harden or crack.

Golf Club Head Cover

Use headcovers. Headcovers might not be a big deal for irons, but using a cover for your putter is a good idea. The more delicate woods and more responsive irons can be roughed up by bouncing around in a golf bag.

Keep a golf towel attached to your bag in order to wipe off the face of the club after each shot. Just make sure you don’t delay others. This will ensure that you don’t have excess moisture or dirt on the face of your club.

Give your clubs a good cleaning. Remember to clean your clubs at least every few round. When dirt hardens onto the clubface, it’s a real pain to get it off.

Taking care of your golf clubs Use warm, soapy water and a soft-bristled toothbrush or other soft brush to clean the clubfaces. Don’t soak your woods into the water, as they will get damaged. Irons can be submerged without a problem.

Towel-dry the clubface and shaft immediately after cleaning.

Use a damp cloth to wipe down the grips

Make sure you inspect your grips for shiny, worn or cracked areas. Those are signs that you might need to consider new grips. Good grips are essential.

Inspect the shafts for dents, nicks or splits. If you spot any of these, it might be time to replace it. Shafts can last a very long time just considering normal play but they can become damaged by banging around.

Some tips

Always clean your clubs after a rainy round. Wet clubs that are simply tossed in your bag, will develop rust spots.

Never use abrasive cleaning agents or wire brushes on your clubs. You’ll end causing more harm than good.

Most pro shops have club cleaning kits for sale that will include soft brushes and cleaning materials made for golf clubs.

Golf balls are one of the most important components of your golfing kit because they influence and distance of your shots. Whether your golf balls are capable of flying further is irrelevant because golf is still a game of accuracy and consistency.

Golf balls underwent dramatic changes in the way they are designed ale_medium-1200__sized_l and manufactured in order to improve the distance and accuracy of your shots. cheap mlb jerseys Finding the right ball for your game can be as advantageous as picking the right set of clubs.

While many people prefer to be “loyal” to a specific brand, there are many specifications that you should consider before you head onto the course.

Construction

The construction of a golf ball is extremely important, as it will determine how it will react when it comes into contact with a club. Many manufacturers are constantly pushing the limits to find that Wholesale Seattle Seahawks Jerseys perfect golf ball that is just as fast as it is accurate.

One-Piece Golf Balls

A one-piece golf ball is one of the most basic, and least expensive to produce. These are typically designed for beginners, driving ranges and some golf courses but it is seldom used as a playing ball.

A one-piece ball is typically made from a solid piece of Surlyn with dimples moulded in. They are inexpensive, soft and very durable, but it does not give you a lot of distance when you hit it due to its lower compression.

Two-Piece Golf Balls

A two-piece golf ball is used by most ordinary everyday golfers because it combines durability with maximum distance. The balls are made with a single solid core, enclose in the ball’s cover.

The solid core is typically a high-energy acrylate or resin, that is covered by a tough, cut-proof blended cover that gives the two-piece ball more distance than the one-piece. These balls are covered in either Surlyn, a specialty plastic or a similar kind of material.

The firmer wholesale jerseys feel of the golf ball does not add more distance to a player’s game and it might bag not be as easily controlled as a softer ball. The two-piece golf ball is virtually indestructible and with its high roll distance, it is by Today far the most popular golf ball among ordinary golfers.

Three-Piece Golf Balls

These balls have either a solid rubber or liquid core, a layer of enhanced rubber or a liquid-produced layer and a molded cover of durable Surlyn or Urethane, since Balata is no longer used.

They are softer and offer more Golf spin, which gives a better golfer more control over their ball flight. The more layers a manufacturer adds to a ball, the more spin-separation they can create, which means a more customized performance for a driver compared to an iron or a wedge. A three-piece ball is the first level of ball that will feature a noticeable spin-separation advantage.

Four-Piece Golf Balls

Each layer in a four-piece ball has a specific and different purpose. All the layers luomukahvia work together to offer a golf ball that is the softest and that fly the farthest.

The first layer, the inner core, of the ball is the solid rubber center that is primarily designed to offer maximum Results distance, especially with a driver. The second layer, inner cover, is in the ball to transfer the kinetic energy from the strike to the inner core.

The middle layer, third layer, is the extra layer compared to a three-piece ball. It offers the complete layer that tries to increase driver distance whilst producing mid iron spin and feel around the green. The outer cover is where the feel of a golf ball comes from and it usually contains between 300 to 400 dimples, making it the thinnest layer. The outer cover is made from Urethane as it must be durable yet soft.

Five-Piece Golf Balls

These are the latest development in ball design and TaylorMade was the first to mass produce them in 2009, when they released the Penta Ball. Since then, several other major manufacturers have begun producing five-piece golf balls.

Much like the three or four-piece golf balls that use more materials and layers to offer more spin separation and performance benefits, the five-piece takes it a step further. Whilst it is the most expensive ball in the Pro Shop, it offers the highest, Tour-level performance.

The typical five-piece ball will feature three mantle layers, sandwiched between a high speed core and a soft Urethane cover. Each layer is engineered to optimize performance in five key areas that skilled players desire such as; driver, long irons, middle irons, short irons and short wedge shots. These balls offer soft, low-compression cores and it is the most critical layer at promoting high launch and low spin off the driver for maximum carry and distance every time.

Your golf bag is one of the most important pieces of equipment, as it stores all your clubs, calls, tees and everything else you need on the course. There are different types of golf bags out there and not all of them will suit you. You need to think about when, where and how often you play because the wrong bag will not only be inconvenient but also lack in durability.

When selecting your golf bag, remember that functionality is key. Do you walk, ride or do both? Do you carry extra clothing and accessories in your bag? Answering these questions might help you to determine what type of bag would suit Back your needs the best.

Types of golf bags

Staff bags

Staff bags are the top of the line bags that you get today. They are haircity used by golfing professions when on Tour. The pros are usually sponsored by wholesale NBA jerseys the companies who manufactures them, so their cool brand logos are prominently displayed.

They are big, roomy, luxurious, and of course heavy. The weight is not really an issue with pros because their caddies usually carry their bags. The average golfer might get tired of lugging around the extra weight, whether it means transporting your bag from your car or pushing it around on a cart throughout your round.

Staff bags tend to weigh around 10 pounds, but what they lack in lightness, they make up for in higher quality materials, plentiful storage space, and a professional appearance.

Cart Bags

Cart bags are slightly smaller and noticeably lighter than staff bags. A cart bag is specifically designed to be carried on a golf riding cart or golf Jimdo push cart. It obviously means it might not be the best choice if you plan on walking the course, carrying your bag on your back the whole time.

Weighing in at around 6-7 pounds on average cart bags are definitely lighter and easier to carry than staff bags, but they are meant to be used with some kind of cart. If you walk the course using a golf pull cart, then cart bags are a great option.

What makes these bags work so well for carts wholesale nba jerseys is Golf that they’re designed to provide easy access to all the bag’s pockets while remaining strapped to the back of your riding carts. Another feature is that most of these bags have a rubber or non-slip base that will keep the bag from sliding off a cart.

Stand Bags

Stand bags feature a design that is unique compared to other styles of golf bag due to their two retractable legs.

These legs allow the bag to stand either completely upright or else it can stand canted, where its legs are extended to stabilize the bag while allowing for easy access to any club. When the bag is upright, the legs retract and lay snug against the bag.

Stand bags are most commonly used by golfers who prefer to walk the course. That’s because the retractable legs allow the cheap NFL jerseys bag to remain upright on turf, whereas cart or staff bags are really designed to be used on flat surfaces, such as the back of a riding cart. But if you walk the course, there’s no cheap jerseys need for your clubs to stay on the cart path when you’re teeing off or lining up a putt.

Many stand bags come equipped with backpack-style shoulder straps, to better distribute the weight across both shoulders. Stand slovenicae bags generally weigh in the neighborhood of 5 pounds or lighter. Some even have additional ergonomic features, such as a hip pad to prevent the bag from rubbing you the wrong way as you walk.

It also should be noted that stand bags can be used with push/pull carts or strapped to the back of a riding cart. But you should take particular care when doing so, especially with push or pull carts, to make sure the legs don’t get damaged in trying to secure it with straps.

Carry bags

Carry bags and stand bags are very similar but they only lack one thing; the retractable legs.

While carry bags don’t have the retractable legs, they are the lightest golf bags available. They tend to pay an average of about 2 pounds and this is made possible by using lighter materials and being less structured. While other bags have more pockets, carry bags will normally have a handful at most. It typical has a 2-way divider, where the other bags may have 4-, 6- or even 14-way dividers in place.
